NEW SYLLABUS OF CS EXECUTIVE WOULD BE APPLICABLE FROM 1ST FEB, 2013

INTRODUCTION OF NEW SYLLABUS AND REVISION IN REGISTRATION FEE AND OTHER FEES PAYABLE BY THE STUDENTS W.E.F. 1ST FEBRUARY, 2013 EFFECTIVE DATE OF IMPLEMENTATION

New Syllabus of Executive Programme is being implemented with effect from 1st February, 2013 and the New Syllabus of Professional Programme is being implemented with effect from 1st September, 2013.

SUBJECTS/ PAPERS COVERED UNDER NEW SYLLABUS

EXECUTIVE PROGRAMME

MODULE 1
1. Company Law
2. Cost and Management Accounting
3. Economic and Commercial Laws
4. Tax Laws and Practice

MODULE 2
5. Company Accounts and Auditing Practices
6. Capital Markets and Securities Laws
7. Industrial, Labour and General Laws

PROFESSIONAL PROGRAMME

MODULE 1
1. Advanced Company Law and Practice
2. Secretarial Audit, Compliance Management and Due Diligence
3. Corporate Restructuring, Valuation and Insolvency

MODULE 2
4. Information Technology and Systems Audit
5. Financial, Treasury and Forex Management
6. Ethics, Governance and Sustainability

MODULE 3
7. Advanced Tax Laws and Practice
8. Drafting, Appearances and Pleadings
9. Electives – Any One out of below Five Subjects

    i have passed my cs foundation in dec 2012 exam now i have to register in executive and i need assistance about computer training how to do it i do not about it i need guidance in it!!

    New Syllabus is applicable from 1st feb as u cleared ur foundation exam this year new syllabus would be applicable on u. you have register urself in executive prog. before 28 feb if u want to appear in both groups of executive in december, 2013. As regard to computer training this is not mandatory if u had already taken some computer training but in that case u have to clear the computer exams. for getting exemption from computer training u can take online admission visit the institute site for it

    it is necessary for u for u complete ur sip before exam, u can complete it either from chapter or from e learing process
    u can complete computer training training after first group

    SIr, I hv registered in aug 2011 n i hv gvn grp 1 in dec 2012.. results r yet to be announced... wht if i hv to re-appear grp 1 in june 2013 or gv grp 2 in june 2013, d old syllabus will be applicable to me right? or d new one?

      if you are in executive, then new sylabuss shall be applicable from dec 2013 exams, if u are in professional, then new sylabuss shall be applicable from may 2014 exams.

      no, it is going to apply from may 2014 attempt, so dec'13 attempt is also there for u in old sylabuss[2007] itself.

      hi prakash we have to do sip and computer training and also send test papers for being eligible to apply for dec 2013 exams, and yes it is compulsory for everyone[irrespective of entry into executive].u can find details at icsi website, this link may also be useful for you:http://www.icsi.edu/WebModules/student/Frequently%20Asked%20Questions.htm
      if possible go to a nearer chapter office of icsi and enquire about what to do in cs-executive.

    computer exam is necessary before clearing CS executive examination.
    if u have training in computer u can give exam directly

    I think new syllabus is applicable only for new registerations, or for all.
    Plz correct me if i am wrong. I registered in 2011 so lil bit confuse and planning to give exam for execute 1 after my marriage please suggest as i have taken coaching for old syllabus.

    changes in tax laws are applicable to all students irrespective to the case they have opted new or old syllabus.
    u said u want to give exam as per old syllabus which is not practical as institute had set up a time frame of registration if u come under it u will get it otherwise u have to give exams as per new syllabus
